Wire mesh demister

Wire mesh demister, also known as wire mesh mist eliminator, is primarily composed of wire mesh, wire mesh grids forming the mesh block, and a support device to secure the mesh block. The wire mesh consists of various materials of gas-liquid filtration mesh, which is made from metal wires or non-metal wires. The non-metal wires in gas-liquid filtration mesh are twisted from multiple strands of non-metal fibers, or can be single-strand non-metal wires such as engineering plastics like PP (polypropylene) and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). Mixed编织 gas-liquid filtration mesh, such as stainless steel mixed with fiberglass, can also be used.
The gas-liquid filtration mesh and support components used in the production of wire mesh demisters are manufactured by our factory in accordance with the Chemical Industry Standard HG/T21618-1998 for wire mesh demisters (the thickness and density of the demister can also be customized based on user requirements). Our factory-produced wire mesh demisters can not only filter out larger liquid droplets suspended in the gas flow but also remove smaller and micro droplets. They are widely used in gas-liquid separation devices across industries such as chemical, petroleum, tower manufacturing, and pressure vessels.

Stainless steel is one of the commonly used materials in wire mesh demisters. Stainless steel wire mesh demisters are resistant to weak corrosive media like air, steam, and water, as well as chemically erosive media such as acids, alkalis, and salts, hence also known as acid-resistant stainless steel. Stainless steel wire mesh demisters are widely used due to their characteristics of corrosion resistance, low cost, easy installation, and long service life.
